Itinerary

1-day Verona

Individual arrival in Verona and accommodation in the chosen hotel. Guided walking tour of the historic city center, starting from Juliet's house with the romantic balcony that revokes the love story written by Shakespeare; continuation of the walk towards Piazza delle Erbe where Roman, medieval and Renaissance architectures blend harmoniously, Piazza dei Signori, the Veronese drawing room, the Castelvecchio Fortress and the Scaligero Bridge. Lunch based on traditional cuisine in a typical restaurant. At the end, guided tour of the Verona Arena, one of the best-preserved Roman monuments, of great fame in Europe and in the world thanks to the opera season that takes place every summer in its fabulous scenery, always inaugurated by a new edition of Giuseppe's Aida Greens. Free dinner, overnight at the hotel.

2-day Wine and so much more

Breakfast at the hotel. Day dedicated to the areas of the great DOC and DOCG wines; Valpolicella, where the superb Amarone and Recito are born. To reach this area you can travel along picturesque Wine Roads to discover a great tradition not only wine but also gastronomic. There are numerous restaurants and quality inns where you can taste typical dishes such as boiled beef seasoned with "pearà" sauce, polenta, gnocchi, lake fish... Wine tasting at a cellar with guided tour of the duration of 1 hour; tasting of 3 DOC wines of Valpolicella. Return to Verona, free dinner and overnight at the hotel.

3-day Towns, gardens and castles

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the pretty town of Valeggio sul Mincio characterized by four Scaliger towers and famous not only for its tortellini but also for the beautiful Sigurtà Garden Park which boasts landscapes of enchanting beauty to be discovered on foot, by bicycle or aboard a nice little train. Free lunch and in the afternoon continue to Borghetto, one of the most magical villages in Italy. Ancient village of mills on the river, with picturesque views, characteristic medieval houses and a panorama that ranges from the Mincio to the morainic hills of Garda. Return to Verona, free dinner and overnight stay.
