Overview

Franciacorta is a beautiful region of Lombardy. Nature has sculpted this ancient land over thousands of years, creating a breathtaking and diverse landscape awash in color. Colors that produce its most precious treasure, wine.

THE BEST FOOD AND WINE OF LAKE ISEO AND FRANCIACORTA

Day 1: Arrival in Franciacorta and accommodation in farmhouse/hotel*** /****. Free evening and overnight stay.

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. 9 a.m. – Cooking class (in English): harvesting vegetables in the garden and preparing a full menu. Tour of the winery followed by pranzo based on the prepared dishes, accompanied by regional wine.
Participants will receive an apron and cookbook as a memento of the course.
Free evening and overnight stay.

Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. 9 a.m. – Transfer to Lake Garda and visit a Lugana (extra virgin olive oil) winery and oil mill. Tasting of local cured meats and cheeses.
3 p.m. – Journey inland to the farmhouse/hotel, along the “Road of Garda wines and flavors.”
Free evening and overnight stay.

Day 4: Breakfast at the hotel 9:30 a.m.-Meet with the guide for a visit to an olive oil mill on Lake Iseo.
Olive oil tasting. 11 a.m. – Departure by boat to Mt. Island, Europe’s largest lake island, which was awarded first place in the Italian classification as a European destination of excellence.
Free time in the fishing village for a visit to the small stores selling typical products.
Lake fish lunch (including 1 glass of wine, half bottle of mineral water, espresso coffee).
