THEATER – THE LEGNANESE

A new show to once again embrace the tens of thousands of spectators who wait year after year to spend two carefree hours with the Colombo family and other characters from the courtyard. The new title for the 2023-2024 season is already promising guaranteed entertainment, with the comedy and tradition of I LEGNANESI grappling with a commandment as relevant as ever.
Growing up in a traditional family of wholesome and authentic principles nowadays is a great fortune: Mabilia knows this well.Aware of this privilege, she enters a charity contest, winning the “temporary adoption” of a troubled but incredibly overwhelmingly characterful boy. And that is exactly how Carmine becomes part of the Colombo family, overwhelming everyone… Teresa and Giovanni’s task will be to reintegrate the boy into society by providing him with the solid foundation and moral principles essential for living honestly, while Mabilia’s will be to play the role of “big sister.” But it is known that habits (even unhealthy ones, unfortunately!) die hard, and because of a stunt committed by Carmine, in the second part of the play the three Columbians will find themselves catapulted into a courtroom to “clear themselves” for something they did not commit, especially our John who, much to Teresa’s happiness, will even risk jail time! But, when everything seems to degenerate with no way out, the situation will be transformed, leading the viewer to reflect on the 7th commandment.
