Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan and Cairo

Day 1 Monday, 11/18/2024: Italy - Luxor
Meeting of participants at Milan Malpensa airport, clearance of customs formalities and departure by direct flight to Luxor. Arrive at Luxor airport, meet with local assistant and clear customs formalities. Private transfer to the motorboat departure point, check-in and accommodation in reserved cabins.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Tuesday, 11/19/2024: Luxor - Esna
Breakfast on board. Early in the morning visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Continuation of visits to the necropolis of Thebes (Valley of the Kings and Temple of Hatshepsut) and visit to the Colossi of Memnon.
Lunch on board and start sailing to Esna with passage of the lock.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Wednesday, 20/11/2024: Edfu - Kom Ombo
Breakfast on board. In the morning visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, a masterpiece of architectural balance and elegance and one of the best-preserved sites in all of Egypt.
Return to the motorboat, lunch and sail to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, visit the dedicated Sobek and Haroeris Temples. Return to the motorboat and sail to Aswan.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 Thursday, 11/21/2024: Aswan
Early in the morning, overland bus excursion to Abu Simbel and visit the temples.
Depart before dawn (about 4:30 a.m.-bag breakfast) and transfer to Abu Simbel. The route takes about 3 hours and a technical stop is planned. Upon arrival, visit the Abu Simbel complex, consisting of two impressive temples carved into the rock. The guide will explain how they were buried under the sand for a long time, why and how they were moved from their original location. After the approximately 2-hour visit return to Aswan.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Friday, 11/22/2024: Aswan - Cairo
Breakfast on board. Check-out from the motorboat and in the morning visit the Great and Old Dam and Philae Temple. Lunch during visit or packed lunch and transfer to airport for departure to Cairo.
Upon arrival meet with local assistant and transfer to hotel.
Accommodation in reserved rooms, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Saturday, 11/23/2024: Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the world-famous pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. After lunch continue the visit to Memphis , Egypt's oldest capital and Saqqara, the largest necropolis where you will visit

Day 7 Sunday, 11/24/2024: Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning dedicated to visiting the Egyptian Museum, which houses the richest collection of Egyptian and Greco-Roman antiquities in the world. Lunch and afternoon visit to the Muslim part of the city: the citadel with the Mohamed Ali Mosque. Walk to Khan and Khalili Bazaar.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 Monday, 11/25/2024: Cairo - Italy
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport in time for your flight back to Milan.
