On Oct. 5, for the first time, one of Broadway’s most expressive, substantive and well-known shows will debut at the CheBanca! National Theatre.
Written by three outstanding authors-John Kander (music), Fred Ebb (lyrics and libretto), and Bob Fosse (libretto, direction, and choreography)-Chicago is one of the great classics of the musical, whose international fame has increased dramatically worldwide since the release of the film in 2002 (winner of 6 Academy Awards), directed by Rob Marshall, written by Bill Condon and based on and starring Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Geere, and John C. Reil.

The plot follows the events of Roxie Hart, a nightclub singer who kills her lover when she discovers he is about to leave her for her best friend. After being convicted of her murder, she ends up in prison where she meets her idol
