Itinerary

Day 1 22/09/2025 Italy / Tunisa

Departure from Italy by special charter flight. Arrival in Djerba and transfer to the Valtur Djerba Golf & SPA. Check in and accommodation in your room. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 23/09/2025 Djerba/ Matmata/ Douz 305 km

Breakfast at hotel and departure for Matmata via Mareth. Arrival in Mareth and visit to the military museum. Continue to Toujene (stop for the inevitable panoramic photo of the Berber village ) and depart again for Matmata. This locality is famous for its moon-like appearance; over the decades it has become a film set for many famous international films Visit one of the troglodytic dwellings. Lunch in a local restaurant and departure for Douz better known as the "Gateway to the Sahara" with its gigantic and spectacular sand dunes. Possibility of an optional excursion on the back of a camel (to be paid locally) . Arrival at the hotel check in and settle into your room. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 24/09/20225 Douz/Chott El jerid/Chebika/Tamerza/ Tozeur 300km

After breakfast departure for Tozeur. Along the way stop at the great salt lake " Chott El Jerid " where salt , sand and sky mix to offer a unique natural spectacle. Continuation to the " mountain oases " Chebika and Tamerza . Arrival and visit of the oases , landscapes surrounding the " Saharan Atlas canyon " . Continuation to Tozeur, arrival at hotel check in and accommodation in room. Lunch and free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 25/09/2025 Tozuer/Oung Jemel/Nefta/Tozuer 160km

After breakfast depart for a visit to the Dar Chraiet Museum and the old town. Free time. Return to the hotel. Lunch and departure for Ong El Jemel, a location famous for being the site of movie sets of such famous films as Star Wars and many others. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 26/09/2025 Tozuer/Gabes/Djerba 320km

Breakfast at hotel, check out and depart for Gabes. Arrival and photo stop at the only one on the Mediterranean coast. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to the spice market and continue to Djerba. Arrival at the Valtur Djerba Golf & SPA, check in and settle into your room. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 and Day 7 27/09 and 28/09/2025 Djerba Valtur

All Inclusive treatment at the Valtur Djerba Golf & SPA. Days to enjoy the sea and relaxation at one of the best resorts on the island of Djerba.

Day 8 Djerba/ Italy

Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for the return flight.
