Artist Lights in Salerno: An Enchanted Weekend

Departure in the morning from Milano Centrale by Frecciarossa train bound for Salerno.

Free lunch along the way or upon arrival.

Arrival in Salerno and check-in at the hotel. It will be possible to leave luggage at reception; rooms will be available after 3 pm.

In the afternoon, you will begin your weekend with a leisurely stroll along the Lungomare Trieste promenade, with splendid views of the sea and the Amalfi Coast.

Next, you will explore the main light installations of the Luci d'Artista, which change theme and setting each year, transforming the city into a fairy-tale path. Highlights of the visit include:

Municipal Villa - Often transformed into the famous Enchanted Garden.

Minerva Garden - Historic botanical garden, embellished with light installations.

Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Portanova Square - Heart of the Lights, with the majestic Christmas Tree.

Trieste waterfront - Decorated with installations inspired by the sea and coastal landscapes.

Squares and streets of the historic center - Every corner can reveal an amazing light work.

At the end of the walk, walk back to the hotel for dinner (drinks included).

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

Load luggage onto the bus and depart for the historic center of Salerno.

Stroll through the charming streets of the historic center, discovering quaint alleys, craft stores and hidden squares. You can walk along Via dei Mercanti, the city's ancient commercial artery, rich in history and tradition.

They will visit:

Flavio Gioia Square, with the historic Porta Nova, a symbolic entrance to the medieval city.

The majestic Cathedral of St. Matthew, a masterpiece of Norman architecture. Inside you will admire the splendid crypt, which holds the relics of St. Matthew, and numerous valuable works of art.

Lunch in a typical Salerno store (drinks included), to savor the authentic flavors of local tradition.

When finished, transfer to the station in time for the train back to Milan.
