Breakfast. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Afternoon dedicated to visiting Buenos Aires (group service) starting at the Plaza de Armas, now known as the Plaza de Mayo, the historical, political and cultural center of the city. The Pyramid de Mayo, which stands in the center of the plaza, was the first National Historic Monument inaugurated in 1811. The square is overlooked by the Casa Rosada, current seat of the National Executive Power, the Cabildo, the first colonial-style municipal house dating from 1754, and the Catedral Metropolitana. Continue along Avenida de Mayo, one of the city's most interesting urban areas with buildings of different styles, until you reach the Palacio del Congreso, an eclectic style building with strong neoclassical influences, the seat of national legislative power. Nearby is the Plaza Congreso with the Dos Congresos Monument. From the plaza continue along Avenida de Mayo and you reach the San Telmo district one of the oldest in the city, inhabited until the end of the 19th century by aristocratic families. Today it is known for its antiques market held every Sunday and its many "tanguerias," restaurants and bars. Heading south we arrive in picturesque La Boca, with the colorful Caminito, with its distinctive multicolored tin houses still inhabited today. Boca is the cradle of great soccer in Argentina as the legendary River Plate and Boca Juniors teams were born here, the latter with its famous stadium "la Bombonera." Then we enter the modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero, with its old port warehouses transformed today into offices, housing, entertainment venues and elegant restaurants overlooking the Rio de la Plata, and the residential neighborhood of Palermo, with its elegant mansions surrounded by green spaces, to finally arrive at Recoleta. There you will find the Nuestra Señora del Pilar church, the former convent that has now become the Recoleta Cultural Center, the Buenos Aires Design shopping center and the Palais de Glace exhibition center.
