Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Bergamo: elegance & tradition

Individual arrival in Bergamo and private transfer to a carefully selected 4-star or boutique hotel in the heart of the Upper Town. Check-in and free time to soak in the authentic atmosphere of this enchanting destination. In the afternoon, meet your private guide for an introductory walking tour through the Venetian Walls (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the charming Piazza Vecchia, often considered one of Italy’s most beautiful squares. External visit of the stunning Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and the richly decorated Cappella Colleoni. Welcome gourmet dinner in a selected traditional restaurant, featuring local specialties such as Casoncelli alla bergamasca paired with regional wines. Overnight stay.

Day 2 – Culture, art & authentic flavors

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning dedicated to a guided in-depth exploration of the Upper Town: entrance included to the Rocca di Bergamo with panoramic views walk along the Venetian Walls visit to the Cattedrale di Sant'Alessandro Followed by an exclusive food experience: guided tasting of local products in a historic delicatessen or wine bar (DOP cheeses, artisanal cured meats and Lombardy wines). Free lunch with personalized recommendations. Afternoon at leisure for boutique shopping or relaxation. Optional upgrade: private funicular ride to San Vigilio for spectacular views over the city and surrounding hills. Panoramic dinner in a carefully selected restaurant with tasting menu. Overnight stay.

Day 3 – Final discoveries & departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for a last stroll through artisan shops or an optional visit to the Museo Donizettiano, dedicated to the famous composer Gaetano Donizetti. Check-out and individual departure.
