Cremona between History, Art and Sweetness – Nougat Festival 2025

Departure from Inzago by GT coach in the direction of Cremona. Arrival is scheduled for about 9 a.m. in Piazza Libertà, where a meeting with the local guide is planned. From there, a guided walking tour of the historic center will begin, taking in the city's most representative architectural beauties and historical landmarks.

The route will begin with a stop at the 16th-century cloister of the Church of Sant'Abbondio, considered one of the most elegant in Cremona. Continuing along the streets of the center, you will admire the facades and inner courtyards of several noble palaces, evidence of the city's history and prestige.

Once you reach Piazza Duomo, the monumental heart of the city, you will visit the main medieval buildings externally: the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Palazzo Comunale and the imposing Torrazzo, which at 112 meters is the tallest masonry bell tower in Europe. The tour will continue with entry to the interior rooms of the Palazzo Comunale and the discovery of the Duomo, where it will be possible to admire the 16th-century fresco cycle in the main nave.

At the end, lunch at a typical inn.

The afternoon will be devoted to self-discovery of the Nougat Festival, with free time to visit booths, watch historical re-enactments, and participate in the many initiatives planned for the Nougat Festival 2025.

At the end of the day, return to Inzago by GT coach.
