Fondazione Prada in Milan is a place where contemporary art, architecture and thought come together in surprising ways. The spaces, designed by Rem Koolhaas, host visionary exhibitions and immersive installations.
It is a must-see for those seeking an out-of-the-ordinary, stimulating and always innovative cultural experience.
In November 2025, the spaces of the Fondazione Prada in Milan will host the prestigious Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy.
Conceived by Maestro Riccardo Muti, the Academy is a training path of excellence dedicated to young conductors and collaborating masters, and represents a unique opportunity to enter the living heart of great music.
The 2025 edition will be entirely dedicated to one of the absolute masterpieces of the opera repertoire: the “Don Giovanni” (1787) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Have you ever dreamed of attending a masterclass given by one of the world’s greatest conductors?
With us, you can do it!
The Academy opens with a presentation of the work by Riccardo Muti, followed by a series of rehearsals open to the public with orchestra and chorus, conducted by the Maestro himself.
The project culminates in a not-to-be-missed double event: the final rehearsal of the young conductors, and the concluding concert conducted by Riccardo Muti, scheduled for Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 7:00 pm.
An extraordinary opportunity to experience the excitement of great music up close and personal, under the guidance of a world conducting icon.
The 2025 edition of the Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy will be dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” and will consist of four key moments:
Introductory lecture-concert by Maestro Riccardo Muti,
Open rehearsal with the Maestro, orchestra, singers and choir,
Final rehearsal of young directors selected to participate in the Academy,
Closing concert conducted by Maestro Muti.
