The Relais “Il Poggio degli Ulivi” is a 1600 farmhouse located in Bettona, just opposite Assisi, from which it is only 7 km away, and has been awarded the 5 ears of corn recognition. It offers both rooms and apartments furnished in the style of Umbrian country houses combined with modern amenities and services.
It offers various facilities such as an infinity pool with whirlpool, multipurpose tennis court (tennis, soccer, and volleyball) restaurant, and in-house oil mill. The new saltwater infinity pool (no chlorine) features 4 two-seater whirlpool stations, foot massage, relaxing beach with soft touch bottom with breathtaking views of Assisi.

1) Guided tour and oil tasting: our proposal includes a guided tour of the Poggio degli Olivi oil mill and tasting of the various types of oil they produce with bruschetta.
2) Guided tour and oil and wine tasting: our proposal includes a guided tour of Poggio degli Olivi's oil mill, tasting of the various types of oil they produce with bruschetta and to conclude, tasting of local wines.
3) Guided tour + oil tasting + lunch or dinner: our proposal includes a guided tour of Poggio degli Olivi oil mill, tasting of the various types of oil they produce with bruschetta and lunch or dinner with special tasting menu of the area (3 courses).

1) Course of "typical Umbrian cuisine"
The chef will guide participants in learning traditional cooking techniques and making delicious recipes. A specific recipe booklet will be developed and handed out at the end of the class to each participant; during the class the student will be taken step by step to understand the elements that have characterized the cuisine of the Umbria region
2) "Summer cooking" course.
All the tricks of summer cooking, for fresh salads to enjoy on the beach and for dinners
improvised but always prepared following the advice of great chefs
3) "Haute cuisine" course
Winning ideas for approaching the chefs' kitchen. All with "live" guidance from the chef; suitable for those who of the basic cuisine already know everything and still want something more; for those who like challenges, including gastronomic ones.
The cook will teach how to prepare some delicious dishes, you will learn great ideas to take home for a quick dinner with friends, a party, a romantic dinner, ... The choice of recipes varies according to the season and your requests
Each class lasts 2 to 3 hours.
At the end of the course you will be able to cook using valuable culinary secrets and will receive a certificate of attendance.
Included in the experience package is lunch with tasting of the prepared dishes (excluding drinks).
