1 DAY - Saturday, 17/5/2025
Departure by GT coach from Inzago. Upon arrival in the Savoy city, get ready for a day full of history and beauty.
The first stop will be the Reggia di Venaria, one of the most fascinating and majestic places in the region. The Reggia is famous for its grandeur and beauty: once you arrive, visit from the elegant halls inside, which tell the story of the Savoy family. The Great Gallery is particularly impressive, as is the Chapel of St. Hubert with its frescoes. Not forgetting to also explore the Reggia Park, a large green space with Italian gardens, fountains and tree-lined avenues. The beauty of this place will make you feel like a king or queen in an enchanted garden. At the end of the visit, typical Piedmontese lunch at a local restaurant with drinks included in the amount of 1/4 water, 1/2 house wine and coffee. After lunch, it will be time to head to Valentino Park for some free time to explore one of Turin's green lungs. Arriving at the park, you will find yourself immersed in an oasis of tranquility within walking distance of the city center. Valentino Park is perfect for a relaxing stroll along the Po River, with wide avenues, well-kept gardens and quiet corners where you can stop and breathe in the fresh air. One of the most striking spots in the park is Valentino Castle, a historic residence that now houses the Faculty of Architecture. But the real hidden treasure of the park is the Medieval Village, a fascinating reconstruction of a medieval village that will make you feel as if you have stepped back in time.
Late afternoon return.
