Itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday, March 30, 2024
Meeting of participants at the Central Station ( for those who wish, possibility of coach from Inzago ) and meeting with Clio Viaggi escort. Departure by Frecciarossa Train in the morning with arrival in Naples Centrale in the afternoon.
Transfer by GT coach to Hotel 4**** in Naples.
Accommodation in the reserved rooms. Free time for relaxation.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
Day 2 - Sunday, March 31, 2024
Breakfast at the hotel and meet your guide for a guided tour of the historic center of Naples
In the morning we will visit Piazza del Gesù and the Church of Jesus, Piazza di San Domenico Maggiore, Spaccanapoli, San Gregorio Armeno, Sansevero Chapel and Cloister of Santa Chiara.
Easter lunch at a typical Trattoria in Naples with a 03-course menu (appetizer, first course, main course with side dish, dessert and ½ water and ¼ wine).
In the afternoon, guided tour of the Royal Palace of Naples: located in Piazza Plebiscito, the Royal Palace was built starting in the 1600s and completed in the mid-1800s. It was the residence of Spanish viceroys, Austrians, the Bourbon dynasty, and following the Unification of Italy, the Savoy dynasty: in 1919 it was ceded by Victor Emmanuel III of Savoy to the state property and today is used mainly as a museum center (particularly the Royal Apartments), and is home to the national library.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - Monday, April 1, 2024
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Herculaneum.
Meeting with the guide and guided tour of the Herculaneum Archaeological Park where it will be possible to admire the remains of the ancient city. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1997.
Lunch at restaurant in Herculaneum or Vesuvius area with tasting.
After lunch, return to Naples and free time for individual activities
Day 4 - Tuesday, April 2, 2024
Breakfast at hotel.
Meeting with the guide and guided tour of the Spanish Quarters
Free lunch.
In the afternoon Guided tour of the Monumental area of Naples: Piazza Municipio, Piazza Plebiscito, Teatro San Carlo and a walk along Via Toledo.
Return to hotel , dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - Wednesday, April 3, 2024
Breakfast at the hotel and possibility to leave luggage at the hotel.
Meet with the guide for a guided tour of the Posillipo area by panoramic bus.
Free lunch and time at leisure for individual activities.
Transfer by GT Coach from the hotel to Naples Station in time for train departure. Train from Naples Centrale in the afternoon with arrival in Milan Centrale in the evening.
