DAY 1 - ITALY/NEW YORK
Meet at Milan airport with Utat tour leader who will be with you for the duration of the trip. Depart for New York by scheduled flight: lunch and snacks on board. Upon arrival, meet with the guide and private transfer to the hotel, during which an initial introduction to the city will be provided. Arrive at the hotel and settle into the reserved rooms (Doubletree by Hilton Times Square West). Free dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 - NEW YORK: CITY OF A THOUSAND FACES
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day dedicated to a guided tour of Midtown and Brooklyn. It will start with a visit to one of the city's newest landmarks: the futuristic Hudson Yards architectural complex, a jaw-dropping construction feat consisting of several buildings built along the Hudson River near a railroad depot in the Chelsea neighborhood, characterized by low-rise buildings compared to other parts of the city, art galleries, and Chelsea Market, one of Manhattan's most famous food markets. Hudson Yards, with the iconic building called "The Vessel," represents the largest private construction project in U.S. history and took six years to complete. This is where the Highline starts, which we will walk through, the elevated public park built along the tracks of a railroad that once served to transport goods from the port to large warehouses in the area. From the Highline's elevated position, one will be able to admire the neighborhood below, the Meatpacking District, once home to butcher shops and now a very fashionable area, where we find the showrooms of the world's leading fashion designers, exclusive stores and of course...starred restaurants specializing in meat dishes. Having reached the end of the short Highline route, we will begin our walk in Greenwich Village, the neighborhood cherished by artists and musicians, which has maintained that small art community atmosphere over the years. Inhabited in colonial times by the Dutch and British, and then beloved by beatniks in the 1960s and 1970s, the Village is still home to music clubs, small independent stores, bookstores and fantastic restaurants. Those who wish can photograph the exterior of Carrie Bradshaw's house, seen in the TV series Sex and the City, or the small bar where Bod Dylan first performed. Free time for lunch. The afternoon will be devoted to Downtown and Lower Manhattan. Stroll through the landmarks of Downtown's financial district: Wall Street with its famous bull statue, the beautiful Trinity Church, the Federal Reserve Bank, which is the place that holds the most gold bars in the world, and the many classical and art deco buildings, such as the one that houses the museum dedicated to Native American Indians. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Free dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3 - NEW YORK/ NIAGARA FALLS
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure for Niagara Falls with brief stop for free lunch along the way. Expected arrival in the early afternoon and rest of the time devoted to visiting what is considered one of the world's greatest wonders of nature: the Niagara Falls. Their fame is not related to the height (only 52 meters of drop), but to the spectacular scenery overlooking a Canadian and an American front, and especially for the impressive flow of water, in function of which the native Indians had coined the name "Thunderbolt." Included excursion aboard the Maid of the Mist, a boat that travels to the base of the Falls and makes its incredible power clearly visible. In the evening, the waterfalls light up in a thousand shades, thanks to special colored spotlights. Free dinner and overnight stay (Holiday Inn Express Niagara Falls).
DAY 4 - NIAGARA FALLS/WASHINGTON DC
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure in the direction of Washington DC, stopping for free lunch along the way. Late afternoon arrival in Washington DC, the capital of the United States of America. Free dinner and overnight stay (Melrose Georgetown/Washongton Hilton).
DAY 5 - WASHINGTON DC
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day dedicated to a guided tour of Washington, D.C., beautiful city, federal capital of the United States, home to the main institutions of government (President, Congress, Supreme Court), many ministries and federal agencies, and some international organizations, including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and the Organization of American States. Bordered on one side by the Potomac River (on the other side are Arlington and delightful Alexandria, Virginia), and on the others by the state of Maryland, it is a very elegant and institutional city, almost devoid of skyscrapers, from whose skyline stand out at a distance Capital Hill with the Capitol, the White House and above all the 169-meter-high obelisk of the Washington Monument. Stop for free lunch. In the afternoon we will visit Arlington National Cemetery just outside the city, adjacent to the Pentagon, with the famous Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and other illustrious graves, such as that of JFK and his bride Jaqueline Bouvier Kennedy. Free dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 6 - WASHINGTON DC/PHILADELPHIA/NEW YORK
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Philadelphia with a stop for a guided tour of the famous Independence Hall, where the new U.S. Declaration of Independence was debated and drafted. Philadelphia is a unique city that, in addition to representing a piece of America's history, is also the place where the first American flag presented to George Washington was created and sewn, as well as the home of America's first zoo, now one of the most important in the world. Free lunch. Continuation to New York City with arrival in the evening. Free dinner and an overnight stay in hotel.
DAY 7- NEW YORK/ ITALY
