Day 2 - BOGOTÀ - Sunday, 4/27/2025 (breakfast)
In the morning, depart for the local market where you can find traditional Colombian cuisine, with opportunities to sample some exotic fruits, visit the flower market, and stroll among the popular food stalls for an authentic experience. Continue with a walk through the city's historic center visiting the Candelaria, Plaza Bolivar where the Cathedral, the Capilla del Sagrario, the Capitolio, the Palace of Justice, and the Liévano building face each other. Continue to visit the Botero Museum with the great artist's most famous works and the Museo de Oro, which houses the world's largest collection of gold artifacts from pre-Columbian times. Free afternoon. Overnight.
Day 3 - BOGOTÁ - POPAYAN - Monday, 28/04/2025 (breakfast)
Transfer to the airport. Departure by flight to Popayan. Arrival, transfer and accommodation in hotel. Afternoon dedicated to visiting the historic center of the city and in particular Parque Caldas, Torre del Reloj, Puente de Humilladero. Later visit to the Morro de Tulcan, the Church of Santo Domingo and San Francisco, the Panteon de las Proceres, the Museum of Religious Art and the Mosquera House Museum. Overnight.
Day 4 - POPAYAN - SILVIA - SAN AGUSTÍN - Tuesday, 4/29/2025 (breakfast)
Morning dedicated to visiting the picturesque village of Silvia, where every Tuesday there is a characteristic market, animated by the indigenous Guambiano community. Artisans and farmers, dressed in their traditional "anacos" clothes, descend to the valley to sell their products. Time at leisure to savor the atmosphere and for possible purchases. Afterwards, transfer to San Agustín. Arrival, transfer and accommodation in hotel. Overnight.
Day 5 - SAN AGUSTÍN - Wednesday, 30/04/2025 (breakfast)
Morning dedicated to visiting the San Agustín Archaeological Park, especially Mesita A, B, C, D, the Fuente Ceremonial del Lavapatas and the Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon visit to the Strait of the Magdalena River, a spectacular rocky gorge that forces the passage of the river along a narrow strait of only 2.20 meters. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 6 - SAN AGUSTÍN - CARTAGENA - Thursday 01/05/2025 (breakfast)
In the morning, transfer to Neiva airport. Depart by flight to Cartagena, via Bogota. Arrival in Cartagena, transfer and check into hotel. Overnight.
Day 7 - CARTAGENA - Friday 02/05/2025 (breakfast)
Morning dedicated to sightseeing with a stop at San Felipe Castle in Barajas. Continue for a walking tour of the walled city, starting at Bolívar Park, surrounded by large trees, four fountains and the statue of the Libertador. Surrounding the park square is the Palace of the Inquisition, recognizable by its Baroque-style door. The palace housed the prison and torture chambers for alleged opponents of the Catholic Church. It continues with a visit to Santo Domingo Church and concludes at the Walls and Fortifications of Cartagena. Free afternoon. Overnight.
Day 8 - CARTAGENA - Saturday 03/05/2025 (breakfast)
Free day.
Excursion to the de Rosario Islands is recommended.
Overnight.
Day 9 - DEPARTURE FROM CARTAGENA - Sunday 04/05/2025 (breakfast)
Transfer to the airport. Departure by flight to Bogota. Arrival. Departure by intercontinental flight to Italy. Meals and overnight stay on board.
